Arkitektforeningen: THE CHAPEL RETOLD

Arkitektforeningen - The Chapel Retold.png

As part of their AGENDA EARTH initiative, Arkitektforeningen (The Danish Association of Architects) took over the abandoned chapel of Frederiksberg hospital in Copenhagen and turned it into an experimental project in sustainability, where diverse teams of architects, artists, and craftsmen transformed the old chapel into a mixed-use public space.

FLUID was commissioned to produce a 10-minute documentary that would document the transformation process and dive deep into the core concepts that guided the different teams. The film was screened at the chapel during a 2-month public viewing following the transformation.

You can read more about the project on Arkitektforeningen’s website (in Danish).

Watch the film (10 min, in Danish with English subtitles):

They understood the scope very quickly, came up with good ideas, and delivered a high-quality product on time. We had a very good collaboration with the company and we would recommend them anytime.
— Sussi Heimburger - Head of Communications, Arkitektforeningen
